Books and materials are held in the BPI Fulfillment Centre and stored in a secure, climate controlled storage facility. The building and materials are adequately insured. Proof of insurance will be presented on signing of the contract. The Books are held on industrial shelving, indexed and labelled as per client standards.
Inventory audits are done by cycle counts once a month on most frequently shipped items. Less frequently shipped items are checked every other month.
Orders are verified against inventory records and orders and physical materials received. All books are examined for damage and stored according to title in the storage facility. We receive shipments at one of our locations and proceed to inspect and check the inventory into your designated storage areas. Receiving is available Monday through Thursday 9 am to 5 pm, and Friday's 9 am to 3 pm.
An electronic inventory control program is used to ensure clear recording of activities in the book store and to ensure accurate reporting on a quarterly basis.
BPI Consulting will receive and visually inspect incoming shipments, do a full product count and unpack the items to place into your storage area for immediate order filling.
BPI Consulting receives all items even if damaged. We note the damage after a visual inspection is completed on the Bill of Lading and send the Bill of Lading
BPI Consulting maintains financial records and produces monthly financial reports on receivables, payables, inventory and customer reports.
BPI Consulting personnel maintains an ongoing understanding of the market for pricing materials and books and makes recommendations for appropriate mark-ups, suppliers, cost effective shipping methods and validity of holding inventory.
BPI Consulting offers high quality and personal order fulfillment, storage, pick, pack, and shipping services. BPI Consulting has no monthly minimums on order fulfillment.
BPI Consulting has partnerships with major carriers, and we work with you to determine the best shipping option. We offer shipping services for domestic and international delivery via FedEx, UPS and Canada Post Express or regular mail. We can access discounted shipping rates through Canada Post Express. We can save money through shipping economies of scale. We provide individual tracking of shipped items via the carrier. The customer will be able to access this information 24 hours a day. We can send order confirmation e-mails to the customer. This confirmation will include tracking information, the date shipped, and a link to track it.
Orders received by 3:00 PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday are shipped the next day. International packages or special UPS packages that we have agreed to accommodate are processed and shipped the next business day. Holiday schedules and weather delays for the shipping companies may cause deviation from normal processes.
BPI Consulting will assist the customer with a cost-effective program for managing product returns that will allow us to offer excellent customer service standards. |
